The Executive Chairman of Edo State Internal Revenue Service has promised to continue to discharge his duties to improve the society with the bestowment of a Member of the National Institute (mni) Award on him by the National Institute of For Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, Plateau State.
Chief Elamah completed a 10 months of intense studies and research at NIPSS, culminating with the research on “Internally Generated Revenue and Inclusive evelopment in the Nigerian State: A Study of Edo State.”
The revenue Chief said that aside from increasing his efficiency, the research work was a model for Edo State which other states would copy in the face of dwindling revenue from the federation allocation account, which would show such states that there were several avenues to beef up Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for the provision of infrastructure and good governance
