In a significant move to enhance the state’s revenue profile, the Managing Director of the Edo State Development and Building Control Agency (ESDBCA), paid a working visit to the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS), to explore collaborative strategies for strengthening revenue collection.
Receiving the Managing Director of Edo State Development and Building Control Agency, Imoisili Darlington Igabali, representative of the Executive Chairman Hon (Engr) Jackson Eribo, Executive Director Ministry Department and Agency Services (MDAS) commended the MD of the Building and Control Agency for the automation of its application and approval processes he experienced firsthand.
He assured Hon. Igabali of the Revenue Service’s support and collaboration to improve on services and revenue generation through issuance of Tax Clearance Certificate, Collection of Stamp Duties and others.
Earlier Mr. Imoisili Igabali, informed that his agency is the body charged with regulating physical development in Edo State, which ensures the rendering of public service to the public through electronic and digital means.
He noted that within a short time in office, he has been able to increase the revenue profile of the agency, hence the visit to the Revenue Service to solicit its support to synergize and collaborate for a sanitized revenue collection process using technology.
