The Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS) has intensified its tax awareness and stakeholders engagement initiatives to ensure residents across the state are fully informed of their civic duties and tax obligations.
The initiative was highlighted during a courtesy visit by the EIRS management team to the Zone G Headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS).

He highlighted information sharing as a vital pillar of the proposed collaboration between both agencies, emphasizing that seamless data exchange would strengthen tax administration, broaden the tax net, and enhance overall compliance across the state.
“As a security and correctional agency, you possess valuable insights and classified intelligence that can significantly aid our operational efficiency and boost tax compliance in Edo State,” Odior noted.
