Executive Chairman, Edo State Internal Revenue Service, Hon. Barr. Oladele Bankole-Balogun on Thursday 6th February, led members of the EIRS Board on a courtesy visit to the Office of the Chief Judge of Edo State Hon. Justice Iyobosa Okungbowa.
The visit was to seek the collaboration and support of the Judiciary in revenue generation drive.
Hon. Barr Oladele Bankole-Balogun while addressing His Lordship, appreciated the Chief Judge for his firm leadership and support given the Revenue Service in boosting the State’s IGR which has translated to over ten billion naira recorded for the month of January, 2025.
The Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Iyobosa Okungbowa congratulated the EIRS Chairman and his team for achieving the feat and assured the Board of the needed collaboration to enable it succeed and realize its set objectives. He however sued for the effective utilization of generated revenue for citizenry of the State.
