The Executive Chairman of Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS) CHIEF Sir Oseni Elamah has said the EIRS is ready to partner any progressive groups that would help add value to the agency’s operational activities, as well as to the welfare of the people of the state.

Chief Elamah made the assertion when he played host to the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS) Chapel in his office in Benin City.

The Executive Chairman, who recalled the EIRS partnership/support towards the Edo State Council of the NUJ, commended the EBS chapel over the way and manner they have organized themselves at their station.

He maintained that it does not really require finance to bring about sanitation changes, saying it is about people’s attitude towards sanitation habit.

The chairman of the EBS chapel Comrade Ivy Adodo, said they were at the EIRS to intimate Sir Elamah about its chapel’s forthcoming press week slated for Thursday March 12, 2015.

While noting that it was in line with the tradition with the chapel to always organize annual press week and get together party, Comrade Adodo said the occasion would feature series of events, including health talk on kidney disorder, cases and prevention and treatment.

She said the event would afford the members the opportunity to come together to unwind.
