In a bid to ensure sustainable IGR growth through efficient and effective service delivery, Hon. Oladele Bankole-Balogun,
Executive Chairman, Edo State Internal Revenue Service, says the EIRS will partner with SWAN on capacity enhancement for staff of the Revenue Service.

This was revealed during a courtesy visit to Hon. Balogun and the EIRS Board by the leadership of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), Edo State Chapter led by Rev. Dr. Mabel Osemwegie, FCA.

Hon. Balogun while speaking, appreciated the critical role played by accountants
particularly women in the financial ecosystem and in bringing succour to the less privileged in our society through its community development programs. He further congratulated Dr. Osemwegie on her emergence as SWAN Chairperson elect.

Earlier in her remark, Dr. Osemwegie commended the Hon Bankole-Balogun led EIRS Board for his leadership capacity and achievement in IGR collection.

According to her: “We are pleased to commend you on the impressive revenue growth achieved so far under your leadership. Your zeal, passion and proactive approach to revenue generation is worthy of emulation.”

” Your dedication to the State’s revenue growth is truly appreciated and your achievements so far serve as a testament to your exceptional leadership”. she added.
