Governor Godwin Obaseki
Governor Godwin Obaseki has expressed appreciation and gratitude for courageous support and confidence in making Edo State great again, through payment of tax, in his new year message.
In the broadcast, Obaseki stated, “Today, you, my people, can confidently say that you have put your own government in power. We must therefore now come together to ensure the success of this government.
“Your Government can only succeed when we all play our role by fulfilling our own obligations, particularly by paying our taxes. It is only by paying your taxes that government can raise the required funds and resources to finance development projects.”
As part of ongoing plans to reposition the state for greatness, he mentioned some key human and capital developmental plans in progress and an open window to employ 1,400 tech savvy young professionals who would drive the system to deliver service to the people.
