Edo State Deputy Governor, Engr. Godwins Marvellous Omobayo, has described the achievements of Edo State International Revenue Service, EIRS as a plus to the developmental strides of the State Government.
The Deputy Governor gave the commendation when he played host to the management team of EIRS, led by its Chairman, Hon. John Osagie Inegbedion FCA, FCTI in his office.
He posited that the growth of EIRS has been on a steady progress, while commending Governor Godwin Obaseki for creating the enabling environment for the service to thrive.
Omobayo noted that the positive revenue profile of the State which has resulted in enhancing the developmental strides recorded by the Obaseki-led administration, can be attributed to the reforms by EIRS in driving the revenue system.
In his address earlier, Chairman, Edo State Internal Revenue Service, EIRS, Hon. John Osagie Inegbedion, said they were in the Deputy Governor’s Office to felicitate with him on his appointment and swearing-in as the number two citizen.
Inegbedion stated that Governor Godwin Obaseki has further demonstrated an uncommon value for the youths and minority in the State with the well deserved appointment of the Deputy Governor.
Highpoint of the courtesy visit was the presentation of a congratulatory card to the Deputy Governor by lnegbedion.
