Chairman, Taskforce on Internally Generated Revenue, Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS), Hon. John Osagie Inegbedion has felicitated with his outgone Delta State counterpart, Sir Monday John Onyeme, as he got sworn in as the Deputy Governor of Delta State.
Sending out warm regards through a release made available by EIRS Head of Corporate Communications Courage Eboigbe, Inegbedion stated,
“It is with great pleasure that I, on behalf of the management and staff of Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS), write to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your election and swearing in as the Deputy Governor of Delta State. Your ascension to this new position is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and commitment to public service.”
Inegbedion pointed out that Onyeme’s tenure as revenue chairman of Delta State brought out means which enabled the state to generate revenue which were deployed to the development of the state.
He said the prior achievements of Onyeme as a revenue chief was a true reflection of his outstanding leadership quality. He wished him well in his new role as the number two man in Delta State Government.
